ok so im this close to having my swap finished and theres one thing that is frightening me. I have been browsing through h22 accord engine bay pics and have found none with the power steering in place. The reason this scares me is that i am having a hard time getting mine hose to fit the pump on the h22 powersteering. Soooo show me some pics of h22 with powersteering! Also tell me how and what hose you used. Thanks again
I finally hooked my power steering up less than a month ago, having had my H22a put in almost a year ago. The only problem I ran across was the bracket from the F22 not fitting on the motor. All of my hoses and lines hooker up without a hitch.
i used the prelude power steering pump and found that both hoses (from the accord and prelude) were incompatible. So i took both hoses to a shop that makes hi pressure hoses and had them take the accord metal piece that attaches to the rack and the prelude end fitting that attaches to the prelude pump and reconstruct a brand new hose in the middle. Kind of like a hybrid hose of the 2. Both hoses are about the same length so there should be no fitament problems after that.
