anyone ever heard of lower final drive gears in a jdm h22 tranny that are made by mitsubishi. im having the input shaft bearing replaced by a racing transmission shop and they are saying that the gears and bearings are mitsubishi and were not made for that tranny. anyone ever heard of this?

how many honda trannies have they worked on?

 

not really sure how many. ive taken 3 there myself. they said that the inside of the tranny housing was machined out to make it accomodate the larger gears for a smaller final drive
