Does anyone have a cut-a-way view that shows very clearly how VTEC works. I know the basic priciples of how it works but in explaining it to a Detroit Muscle friend of mine I can't fully answer all of his questions. Especially regarding how Honda does it while maintaining a superb engine life.

I had found the comparison page by searching Altavista. The only problem is when I try to display the blow ups of the VTEC I get a site not found error.
