Default Door ajar light in cluster.

So this is the third integra that I've owned and this is the first time this has become an issue.

Problem: When making hard right hand turns the door ajar light comes on a bit the harder the turn the longer the light stays on. Now I noticed this only happens when my knee is barely braced against the door. I don't keep my foot on the dead pedal but rather on the kick panel just because it's easier for me to depress the clutch pedal quicker. Now when my knee is not braced against the door the light doesn't come on. Is there some sort of adjustment I can make to have the door shut tighter? I could keep my foot on the dead pedal but I'm used to bracing it against the door and it's not even pushing against the door that hard.

Other problem I have is I have the blackjax system... so if the door becomes ajar then you need to enter the code or the car shuts down thinking you've been carjacked, so you can see the problem here also.

Any input helps aside from keep your knee away from the door lol

TIA

I believe you can move the latch in the door to adjust it. Or just put something to thicken up the tab on the door that makes contact with the switch. That would be your easiest solution.

One of thouse felt pad stickers would do the trick

I had that problem and I had to readjusted the silver latch with the 2 big philps screws. There are alignment marks on the latch and the door jam to line them up correctly.
