Question to all you who own a manual NSX
I am looking into picking up an NSX. My question is, how does the pedal pressure feel? Is it soft like all other honda or stiff pedal pressue? Also anyone knows about the 1995 automatic F1 paddle NSX? What are the pros and sons of it? Im leaning towards the automtic so I will let my daughter have this car in couple years.
Sorry for asking so many questions
thanks guys

I dont own an NSX but drive them at work, if you have ever driven a previous generation TL, or RL or even a Cl it feel about the same as those, no were near at light as the new acuras but deffetnly nice felling. O deffetnly can feel the pedel with out having to use an extreme amount of pressure
She is 13 right now.. Im 33.. I own a performance shop out here in washington and well she is spoiled.. She always ask me what Im getting her for her car..errrrrrrrrrr

The pedal pressure is fine - neither overly soft nor strenuous to use.
I wouldn't give a teenager an NSX to drive as a first car. That's asking for trouble, in many different ways. Do you REALLY want your "spoiled" daughter driving a car that's capable of going 168 mph?
My daughter is not spoiled like that.. I would only give her the car if.. She does good in school, and has a job and turns out to be a good person.. For me I had a camaro back in school for my first car with 400 hp.. I did not go racing around.. I took care of that car.. Bottom line I worked for it..
it really depends on the clutch as well. i have a comptech powergrip 2 in mine now....of course it is a high performance clutch so it has more pressure. im sure the stock clutch would be fine for your daughter to drive around town

Pedal pressure depends on which clutch is in the car. The stock clutch is very light, the comptech feels like a cable clutch from an old chevy truck. There is a drastic difference.

Yes. It doesn't exist.

What? TLs and RLs were never available with a manual transmission.

What does exist, on all automatic-transmission NSXs beginning with the 1995 model year, is the "Sportshift" transmission. This provides a lever behind the steering wheel to initiate upshifts/downshifts. But it is not a true sequential manual transmission like the one available on the BMW M3, Ferrari 360 Modena, etc.

Huh? The current generation TL is available with a six-speed manual transmission.

This is just my opinion...
I have to agree that I wouldn't give a 16 year old a NSX for their first car. At least not as a daily. I would get her a go-kart or Civic/Integra next year and take her to local AutoXs. Then, by the time she is 16 she knows how cars react in driving situations, and she'll have an even greater respect for how the NSX feels and drives.
Question...would you really want a NSX sitting in a high school parking lot?

Your giving your daughter an nsx for her first car, is this thread a joke? I can just see all the accidents waiting to happen that are associated with new drivers. Oh and if i cant make you see this nonsense maybe the insurance company will. IMO if you want a way less expensive but nice car for your daughter to drive, get her a gsr or something... nsx is for the enthusiast. Pretty much no one is going to appreciate and take care of a car like that when its just thrown at them.
