I put a 98 jdm b18b in a 2000 civic coupe, I didn't know that in japan a 98 dind't have a secondary o2, cranck sensor and purge silenoid so I cut and soadered every wire going to a us 98 ecu....obviously engine lights came on! Then I got a 95 p75 us ecu and a jumper harness to go from 0b2a to obd1...now I have no engine lights but the warmer my engine gets the more back fire I have! I have check all sensors and engine is fine....could the wiress be causing a risistence when to car warms up????

I'm sure someone knows if cut and soaderd wires can cause restriction enough...just want to know before I invest in a new harness?
