Default Non-Vtec distributor + Vtec head = ?

Will my 95 LS distributor will work on a 2000 B16 head in an LSVtec setup? I heard something about modifying a mounting leg to make it work. Can anyone confirm this? Is that the only difference between an LS and a GSR distributor?

Thanks
Ben

You have to chop off one of the legs and the distributor will only be held on by one bolt, but it will work.

Yea.. it will work the exact same.. I did it on my b20/vtec and worked well, but kinda looked ghetto.
