What is involved in changing out/replacing the EGR Valve??
How much trouble will this be??
How long can I go before doing something about it??

Any information will be appreciated.

I just changed mine. It's not that hard. Just two nuts holding it. It took me about 20 minutes to replace them. You can drive it with a bad EGR valve but you won't pass inspection.
