Ok heres the story. When im driving the car and either upshifting or downshifting in 2nd or 3rd gears and i push the clutch pedal in it makes a clicking noise, then after i disengage the clutch, it clicks again. it doesnt happen from 1st to 2nd or from 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th. what is the noise and how can i stop it. i was told it might be clutch fluid, but i checked that and it was fine. any suggestions?????

the car is a 98 dx with a stock clutch. i have an exedy stage 1 but i just havent had the time to put it in yet.

 

mine does it at times, never figured it out.

I had that same problem with my old prelude found out that the clutch fluid was like empty in the clutch master cylinder reservoir.

i know its not the clutch fluid cuz i checked that. my dads car had a problem where it would randomly dump clutch fluid and empty the reservoir. we could never figure out where it went. but the color and level of my fluid is perfectly fine.

anyone else with this prob????
