Default 1 Lap around Autobahn Country Club (North Course) in Spoon race car

I finally figured out how to transfer my DV tapes into computer files (me = computer f00z). I also figured out how to downsize it to a manageable 2.87Mb.

Here is 1 lap around Autobahn Country Club in IL (North course):
Right Clicky - Save As
Thanks We-Todd again for the free web space.

It was my first time at the North course so I'm sure there's room for improvement. So don't be critical. I raced the South course couple months ago and once I transfer them from the tape, I would post it up.

Here is a pic of the entire North and South track, just to give you an idea of where you are when watching the video:

very sweet!
Your car looks so responsive, that has to be a blast to drive.
The track looks like a challenge to find the right lines, some of those turns are righ into the next.

Once again, very sweet car.

It is indeed one of Alan Wilson's tracks.
Now you mentioned that, the flow of the turns does feel like MAM (especially both tracks have no elevation changes).

But one thing is definitely very different tho, is the rumble strip. At ACC (both north and south), the rumble strips are built up so high that everytime you run over it, it would launch your whole car.

I think MAM's strips were much harsher the first time I was out there. We were warned not to use them. At Expo, they were much smoother. Did they change them?

I think it's just the fact that they got ran over so many times and got smoothened out.

It's always good to have an extra foot of width in corners.

I loved the rumble strips at MAM. Kind of like small concaves instead of a block. Only thing I didn't like was the design of them. People would either hit before them, or drop off the outside of them and pull dirt/clay (whatever wet dirt is, but not muddy ) all over the turns.

Is that spoon race car the old one that AJ Racing used to own?

So you got lots of in-car footage on DV-tape, lying around waiting to get transfered to your comp now? *i hope*

Nice video... wish to see more.
