Default ZC ( SOHC ) block/ Y8 head. What timing belt?

Well i did a little research but i havent come up with a definate answer. I did however find 2 opstions. Use the Timing belt that coresponds to the head, in this case use the Y8 timing belt. the other is to use the Z6 Timing belt with my Y8/ ZC SOHC bottom end.

Any answers to this question???

thanks in advance.

Julio

I don't know if it will work. I've always been told to use the timing belt that corresponds with the head. Now you can try it, but i make no guarantees.

i found out that both the Z6/Y8 have the same amount of teeth (104)

so i guess i could use either. then again, the Y8 is like 20 dollars cheaper
