Default dumb questions **searched**

OK for my mpfi swap i dont have an si dizzy plug so im using old dx plug and wiring si dizzy into dx plug and i am having one HELLUVA TIME depining these dizzy pins , im goin in from the inside goin in under the pin plug with a tiny eyeglass flathead screwdriver and feeling it go in and wedge in and stop but the pin wont budge, already succed in accidently ripping blue/green out but thats ok would it just be easier to cut and solder? id guess not though. so could someone plz gimme me some tips on this and also can I use my DX plug wires on this new dizzy? thanks alot

look at the pin real closely.
theres a little tab that presses down. if you just jam the screwdriver in and don't hit the tab, it's not going to do anything. look where the tab is, and go straight for that.
