Default Install new Carsound cat., Couple of questions

Short Summary of Events: Had carsound cat. from LandSpeedRacing, cat. started to rattle, then check engine light error code 67 indicating 2nd O2 sensor get out of spec. readings.

So...I got a new carsound cat today. I had some questions:

1.) The gasket between the cat. and the B-pipe keeps comming apart on me. It's the OEM Honda gasket that is metal inside and some type of covering on it. I keep getting areas that come apart and I get blow by. Any suggestions? The blow by is what concerns me the most.

2.) The new cat. smells a little; kind of like hot metal. I assuming this is from the heating up of the cat. for the first time?

3.) the old cat. has this honey comb part rolling around inside of it. Does this mean the cat just came apart? Will I most likely get a refund from carsound for this?

Thanks!

Pep Boys have FlowTech 2.5" aluminum exhaust gasket. They come is a pack of 3 and are reusable, practically indestructible.

Cheap and Highly recommended.
