NEED SOME INFO ASAP PLEASE

we are doing a swap in a 93 Civic Hatch CX we have the engine turning over but it wont fire up we were wondering if you need to knock sensor to make it run

No, you dont need it.
you will see a check engine light if its not in though. now biggie.
check for spark and fuel. thats it.
