I love my CRV and am trying to get better gas mileage. The 2000 CRV is geared to be able to tow up to 1000 lbs. Unfortunately this has a bad effect on gas mileage, especially while on the freeway. Has anyone come across a B20 manual transmission modification to include a 6th gear. Or perhaps another B-Series transmission with a long 5th gear which would be able to be a direct replacement.
