New(?) Jun cams.
Well, I bought them. I used to dream of owning them (and I wont say how much I paid), but now I'm a proud owner of Jun cams. However, I could not help but notice that they seem to be lightly worn. All around the cams (especially on the intake) there is faint evidence of them being seated and spun as if once being in use.
The shop that sold them to me said that it is because they were tested by Jun for correct measurement. Am I getting screwed? I'm sure some one here can tell me what a new Jun cam should look like.

Not the easiest things to get though.

So there shouldn't be any shinny metal showing right? Usually cams are coated with black stuff, but mines worn off in many paces. Especially the lobes.

If you got them from importpowerhouse I suspect that they are brand new. A few weeks ago I was looking for Jun cams and could not find any, called Import powerhouse and they told me they had 2 sets of Jun cams for the H22. One set was used and the other was brand new in the box. The brand new ones were selling for $1050; used was for $1200, but that included springs and cam gears. I took the used ones - $1200 Jun cams, springs and cam gears. Sounded like a good deal to me. They used the Jun's I bought to test their headers for the H22. Oh, they are the manufacturers of RMF headers
