Gs-R engine
i can buy (locally) a entire swap.. engine, tranny, and ecu for less than $2,000... actually, closer to 1800..
and thats from a shop.
so u could peobably get anywhere from $1500-1800 depending on where u live, and if its not HOT. (cops around here are checking for that **** lately.)

hmm....ebay's selling for 1900 or so...plus shipping...probably around $2500 but that's 20-40K miles...so yea, ur not lookin for much, I think u should spend some money and build that engine instead like I did.
New ronds, new pistons, overbored cylinders built crank with new bearings.....costed me around $1500 all together w/ parts

True or not, you couldn't convince someone that was true. No matter how hard you try.

well, somebody would probably give you $1500-ish, but i wouldn't. i know i can get a freshly rebuilt GSR whole motor for like $1500 + buy a crap GSR trans and rebuild it for another <$750, so that's $2250 for a like new setup. i would just save the extra little bit to have everything with 0 miles on it. i'd give you like $1000 because then it would be worth having to rebuild the motor and trans myself. but i know at least a few somebodies out there will have more money than skills or sense or know-how and they'll easily give you $1500 so go ahead.
