Nice turbo set-up but the exterior is pretty bad

 

I wonder if this could be pulled off on my 4th gen??? I've got the h22a and I'm thinking a little bit about cosmetics....like those ferari sides....and the front kit...and those headlights!!!! Nice and done right!!!!!!

I'm sure it isn't faster than yours since I have no mods other than swapping that engine. However, I have been thinking about adding a turbo but that question will pop up by someone else in a new post. What I can afford is about $8k this summer and I'm kind'a looking for a good way to sepnd it. The thought of making it look good crossed my mind but I do want to back those looks up with what's under the hood.

 

Great Lakes is opening that day too, and it's supposedly free. I'm going to talk to the guys from High Destinations CC in Green Bay and see, which on they want to go to.

 

A nice turbo build should shut me down pretty quickly. With $8k you can have a good basic turbo set up, alot of tuning, some nice Advan, Volk, Mugen, etc. rims, and Teins.

That setup is not impressive at all. One word should sum it up; RICE.

The only somewhat-impressive thing about that car is the bodywork. The motor is far from impressive, if you ask me. I think I should just quit here, as I have not much nice to say about it.

I think the spoiler and scoop on the roof is real cool i dig those ferrari flares though

 

I wonder how they did the ferari flares, it can be a nice little project on top of the turbo stuff that sounds very nice right now. Everyone has told me about getting a turbo and have everything tuned nice and dandy but could someone give me a sight that kind'a explains how all that works and what kind of set-up I should get into??? I want this thing to ahve a good balance of a good daily driver and an impressive racer.

 

no offense but what is ricey about the lude?..thats his own personal taste...you wont even give the owner any credit..it may have all the bodywork but he also added the turbo to back it up ...just because it doesnt look like a prelude it doesnt mean its rice...i mean cmon, the use of the word rice has gotten all over people's head...just because the guy spent alot of money on his car with all that doesnt mean its rice...why dont you post your car and see who will get more appreciation from people...respect their preference...sometimes people just call other people's car rice just because they are more jealous that he attracts more attention and his car is in on the cover of Import Tuner...when is the last time you had your car in the cover of import tuner?...think about what you say before you judge....

 

Nice show car... but the fact that it never gets raced really leads me to believe the turbo setup is weak, and probably untuned. Seeing as how they TOTALLY left off dyno figures. (If he had them, they'd be up there as bragging rights! LOL)

I appreciate all that he did, but bowing down to the motor setup is not needed. Please, it's not even internally built.

Oh, and though it's not my taste, I am all sorts of down with his effort.

NFW is it internally built. That's the joke of it. "A kiwi boosted lude"? give me a ******* break! Kiwi makes manifolds, not turbo kits. This just in...Kiwi manifolds are way overpriced and crack!

 

I know that Kiwi doesn't make turbos. Custom work impresses me. Obviously it doesn't impress you. Were aren't going to agree on this.
