Hello, nice site guys. I have a 90 accord automatic that shifts through all 4 gears fine. The problem is that the converter will only lock up on hot days or if I let the tranny really heat up sitting in traffic. Then when going down the highway it seems to cool down and the converter unlocks but it stays in 4th gear. Any ideas? I thought the valve body may be gummed up so i put some of that transmission mechanic in a can in it to no avail. Thanks in advance.
