will a 3.0 V6 yr 98-01 fit 96-97 yr?
Hello, i have a 96 accord V6 2.7L and i was just wondering if they have mounts or is it a drop in if i want to swap in a 98-01 V6 3.0 in my car? Has it been done? thank you
it will fit with a little modification although you may want to keep the auto trans from the 5th gen car if possible........

I'm sure it will fit.. But not with a c27 tranny.. J30a1 trannies are weak and unreliable for most people that have them..

Yes, i am looking into this because my tranny is going to die out on me pretty soon and i have been trying to find a new tranny for it but couldnt find any. all i could find are the 3.0L v6 motor and none of the 2.7L v6. Also, the price of getting the motor with tranny is cheaper than tranny alone.
