Default getting a SiR2

i'm gettin a SiR2 in a eg in a few days, was wondering if it was possibled to get it BARRED in cali.the motor is bone stock, will it pass?if so, is it a good motor?i don't know much about it, i had a gsr motor for a while so i don't really know about b16's.

Same idea. As long as the motor is legal and is the same year as the car or newer you should be okay. You will have to use a USDM ECU and install off of the proper emissions eqiupment. (i.e. EVAP System) and you should BAR no problem.

hmm, thanks bro.what would i have to replace other than the ECU? i heard all i have to replace is the IM and the ECU......is there anything else i should be worrying about?
