LS engine revving too high
I have a 94 LS MOTOR bone stock with I/H/E and chipped ECU for redline. ive always been shifting at 7,200 RPM, but lately ive been misshifting and accidently revving it all the way to 8k rpm.. im scared i might of done something to my car, i hear ticking noise when im idle but its not that LOUD.. if anyone knows what i might have done , plz help
You might have bent some valves. Do a valve adjustment then do a compression test.
Also, stick with the stock ECU. There isn't a reason for a chipped ECU for redline when all you have is I/H/E. Rev limiter is your friend...

It might, but it shouldnt matter. Stock ECU for STOCK MOTOR. If anything, the ECU is probably hurting performance by making your car run richer.
