Quick Question
OKay look i might buy a 95 del sol from a friend for 1,000 without a motor so i was thinking it will be a kool project so i was thinking to drop in a h22 in there but i have heard that it wotn fit its to big for it that the b16 berly fits in there i just want to know if its true or not thanks..
but where the motor sits the del sol and civic arent they the same size ?

man h22 are ****** huge in general they barely fit in the preludes themselves. yet it will fit its jus gonna be tight. most civic chasis are all the same. when i had a h22 my ac didnt fit. (oh well gotta sacrifice somethin for speed)

Yes, it will fit but you will also have to sacrafice power steering as well.

About the b16, some Del Sols have a b16a3 that came stock. So any B series will fit in there with no problems with AC and power steering.

Depends on the person I guess. I've had a CX w/out power steering for about a year now and I'm dieing to get my power steering stuff on.

Yes, I'm sure you're very strong. But if you have to have incosistent steering to prove how tough you are then great.
I for one prefer it when my steering wheel does not loosen during situations where the front tires lose traction. But then I don't have to prove how cool I am on the internet.

how is it inconsistent steering? I have a much better feel for the road, especially at speed, without power steering. I don't have any problems steering when the tires are spinning. The only pro I can think of for having power steering is that it is easier to turn the wheels while stopped or driving slowly. But since you're so 'cool' maybe you can enlighten me.

I agree as far as having a better feel of the road. But, when you're taking a turn at high speeds and you induce understeer the wheel will be very loose, once traction is regained the wheel will snap back. With power steering this feeling is less obvious. If you're talking about drag racing though, I don't see any need for power steering. I guess it's driver's preferance, but I wouldn't say power steering is for girls.

I didn't mean tire spin in particular. Any idiot would be doomed if they downshifted and floored it in the middle of a turn. Simple understeer will do the trick.

look at my sig. read my bio. I don't know about power steering (I never had it in this car), but AC is possible, although its a tight fit. Try JDMShit.com, look at the HCP kit with ac bracket.

It is possible, but from my understanding there is some modifying to be done so it's not a direct bolt up. IMO why would you have air conditioning? I took mine out in my EJ1, now theres a lot more room up there.
