crx with b18a what suspension? crx or integra's?
i was wondering with my swap b18a1 into my 91 crx what is needed in the wheel well? the shafts from the b18 and the knuckle (with the hub) from the integra but do i need the whole suspension set up? off the integra... or can i get away with using the controller arms and tierods from the crx... ? thanks for the help
I have the teg spindles/brakes with no problems with camber, But thas because i am slammed on Koni's/Ground controls
. U will have some positive camber if u stay at stock ride height wich may be compensated enough by the weight of the b18 but dont quote me on that. I ran on stock suspension for a while with my 1st b18 swap and it was not that bad. One tip though, if u go with the adjustable ball joints for camber correction and your slammed, u may have the top of the ball joint adjusting bolt slam into the top of the shock towers. I cut out a small triangle on each tower to allow a little more travel when i hit big bumps. U could see the dimples where the bolt had hit a couple times so it was easy to find the center of the hole, lol. Hope this helps u out. I would either get a set of lowereing springs/coils, or just pick up a cmaber kit for the front to make sure camber is in spec with the stock springs. Hope this helps u out
