real short shifter for 97-02 prelude
i am able to find the adapters for my 97 lude but am not wanting an adapter i want the real short shifter if anyone knows where i can find one that would be a big help. thanks

I spoke with him earlier, he had been having trouble with paypal and alot of people had sent payments for his shifter when he had asked paypal not to accept them at the time. But i'm pretty sure he is back to normal now.

i'd rather shorten the throws and keep the shifter length as it is (or lengthen it).
i use an adapter, and aside from some plastic cutting, it's been fine. then again, i don't think i even really need it.

Swapping to a 4th gen shifter base is way too much work and $$ unless someone practically gives away the parts.
I've had both the Lean and PSPEC short shifter in my 5th gen.
The PSPEC feels like its built a little stronger but more importantly it shifted smoother in my car - less notchy than the Lean - probably b/c shift cable mounting angles are a little different.
You'll need to cut a good bit from your shift boot bracket and underside of the console to mount either one but its no sweat if you have a Dremel - its just plastic and you'll never see it when the console is installed.
