neuspeed race springs
neuspeed front upper strut bar
st sway kit
brake pads changed 04/2005
-bought the car w/o a front lip- i have just bought a new front lip kit (not installed yet, will throw it in tho)

added "security"


ok all of the above was done since i got the car, which is well over 2500 bucks
i paid 4200 for the car @ 100k miles (high but i haven't seen a crx as clean before, and WHITE ! i had to pick it up)

now that i bought a house, am working 2jobs and have dogs to drive around, it doesn't make sense to have a 2 seater anymore, just not practical ( don't want to pay car insurance on 3 cars, also no garage for my rex ).

so my question is how much do you guys think i should ask for her? i know i won't get anywhere near the money i put in fixing her back up.

3500. even for that price it might take awhile.

this is a perfect car for an existing crx owner. cause only they know the price to pay for a clean crx.

meh, here in so cali, u can get about 25 the most. peeps here rarely will buy and pay alot for rexs or hatchies now-a-days. but let me know when u get rid of it ill pm let u kno where im at.

I'm married, have a daughter and a house and realized my ef is impractical and still drive it.

I'd take no less than $3000 for the car.

round here in st louis you could get 3500 pretty easy if you advertised. A rusted out HFjust sold for 1900 with 236,000 mi.

how about an even trade for a 90 civic si hatch, it only has like 60,000 miles zc sohc vtec front and rear struts bars ,intake thats bout it pretty clran also white.

inside is fine, no famous tear on drivers side , has a small one on passenger side.

all the little parts missing, i replaced already (ash tray, dome light cover, couple of panels etc..)

I have 2 kids and a wife. We have a family car, and I have my rex. I wouldnt have it any other way.

You will regret it one day. Dont sell that beauty, just hold on to her, and make ends meet.

we are all in the same boat and i would have to agree with these 2. but damn look at the body lines. bumpers, sidesmoldings all lined up, no bumper droop or lift, window glass looks immaculate. lol.

you'll miss her but if you have to sell 2500-3000 in my area

 

i sold my rex about a month ago. not near as clean as yours, but i would pay twice what i sold it for to get it back. i am also at the point in my life where a crx is just not a reasonable choice, and can't afford to keep it as a 2nd car and pay insurance, etc. keep it if you can, if not, time to move on.

 

Again I say keep it. Not worth losing, some day you will want to drive it again, and it'll be gone.

If you have to non-op it, then do so. Garage it, store it, tell the wife and kid its gone, but dont sell it. You can always get a family var/car etc, but clean 'rex aren't a dime a dozen.

Be smart, think it through and try to reason with the wife. She has to know that you will always be a man, and will always have a need for a car of your own.

Don't sell the rex, baby Jesus will cry.
