Default any 5th gen-ers make air dam under bumper turn signal?

i'm in the process of making an air dam out of the little plastic shield under the passenger side bumper turn signal. i was just wondering if anyone else out there has done this? i have a short ram intake, so the air dam will go up into the engine bay, but i guess the same design could apply to a cold air. anyways, if anyone has done this, what type of material did you use to make the air dam? i plan on using a custom mold, some plastic, and a little heat to bend the plastic into shape. also, i will disign a way for rain to be filtered out.

That opening in the bumper leads directly to the fender well lining, so it kind of acts like an airbox in itself.

It would be a good place to put an external oil cooler though
