Default 97 accord SOHC... cam shaft....

Can any one tell me where can I find (...in the internet, or in south florida..) some cam shaft for my SOHC F22B Vtec???... btw... I do not want a stage 2 or 3, because I don't want to perform many changes to the engine to accomodate a "too powerful" cam right now!
Thanks!

Are camshafts are not real popular with the camshaft makers. i think there are a few out there (anyone know brands? toda maybe?), but i think most F22ers get a regrind. Delta Cam does a good job i have heard....

The problem is that I am finding cams for H22 and stuff like that.... ....that's why I try to see if someone knows where to find... and maybe they tell us how much of a difference can that make....

When I was looking for a 94-97 accord, I went all over south florida to "test drive" some accords...
I found a 94 DX, blue with suspension and intake... but the real deal on that car was the cam and the camshaft....
...I swear... the car was quick like craaazy... aight... it didn't have turbo or nitro .... but for an accord... it was quick.... and faaaaaaaaaaast....... ....we were flying while test driving that car.... SOHC btw....
So... that's why I want the camshaft and the cam.... ....the guy had spent 400 for everything ... installed in his car!!!

Take it one step furthur

Try to find anything for anything other that B Motors and H22's. It will get better thru time as more and more people start futzing around with F22's and 23's, but right now it's almost custom everything. Custom cut pistons, reground cams etc etc etc.

it's getting better with pistons, but the rods are still hard to find. i think only crower and pauter make rods for the F22. may be mistaken though.

*edit* sorry to be off topic!

not many choices for sohc vtec f22's, i honestly only know of gude...

yes, i have heard that as well, except last i checked into it they did not support the vtec model engines...could explain why the dx had a supposed "perfomance cam" as it has the non vtec f22, which a few companys make non vtec regrinds...

yup... it was a SOHC cam, non Vtec... and... ...that s*** was fast... ...and he said he had bought a new cam shaft and a new cam gear... ...at the time... I had no idea what that meant or what it was for...
Delta cam....? Do they have a website?
Also... ....regrind??? What the hell is that going to do? Will "regrind" really give me more power?....

kteller.com also sells rods for f22b for 355 + shipping.

For the stage which most f22b people are at u usually dont require a cam, crower can do custom regrinds and u can find the delta cams but i'd start with a motor builup and some boost before i'd worry about getting a cam. Stage 1, 2, 3 etc. etc. is usually different depending on manufacturer unless its someone like obx knocking off skunk2's specs. But you should look more closesly at what the specs are on a cam not what "stage" it is.

well no one makes a cam...go with the regrind..and if you think an accord w/ a cam and an intake is fast you might wanna define what you think is fast because accords are turds.

obtw all i saw on mmrusa.com is gude stuff which is crap

go w/ a web regrind or a delta regrind

I have heard good things about delta regrinds. I think they are the only ones that will make a regrind on the f22

i believe delta will not do vtec shafts, only the b2's. Web DOES do a b1 regrind though.

...i have not got interested in doing the "research" because the "regrind" thing hasn't sparked my sense of ....you know.. feeling like buying or paying for it... that's why my fellow member brads94accord.... ....like... if you know what it does... just let me know...
Thanks for any answers!!
