Default Tips and tricks to end the season with a best time?

Hey guys, i wanted to end my drag racing season with a best ET. You guys have any special ideas to assure a good end to a racing season, this excludes of course the obvious normal factors, such as race tires, gutting, and driving well. The only thing i have thought of so far is pretty normal, i'm gonna run M&H dot's (thanks John ), take out all the seats, go with a low tank. Share your good ideas.

well i mean my best ET for this season, all my other run were on all season daily tires, so the M&H will definitely help me there. I mean stuff like ice on the intake mani, headlight removal, there might be things i cannot think of so thats what i trying to figure out here.

I'm not sure what your car is, motor or turbo, but don't use limit straps in my opinion. When running the intake pipe threw the headlight make it as long as possible, should pick you up some horse P. Any seams between fender panels and holes in the bumper tape flush. If the car has never been tuned, then pay the few bucks to do it, makes all the diff in the world even on the stock motor. Raise the rear. Don't be afraid of playing with tire pressure or launch rpm. dont let off the gas when u shift, ( make sure you shift fast though). Anticipate your shifts. Good luck too you.
