I am hahbing trouble with my 96 Civic ex.. the gas gauge will not move at all. i am trying to figure out what it is... doesnt seem to be like i can figure it out... the rest of the gauges work perfectly fine...

 

its prolly a problem with the sending unit. go to the top of the fuel tank inside the car and check if it works. i havent done it before but i'm guessing you take a multimeter to the harness at the sending unit, turn the key on, and see if you get voltage.

 

where is the fuel tank located at?
