quage cluster swap???
ok i searched first and got nothing. i have a 89 hatchback. i just bought a si cluster out of a 90 si hatch. is this a direct swap?? if not what is needed?? thanks alot.
I'm not sure if CRX clusters are the same as the Civics ones but I now have a 91 cluster in my 88 CRX and it bolted right up. HTH...I'm sure someone on here knows for sure.
i`m not sure on the years but if it looks like it will fit than it should work i got mine from a 88 accord lx and put it ina 88 dx .....plug and play took like 5 min.. done
I believe the 88-89 cluster is a different physical shape than the 90-91, the wiring is plug and play though, view my website to see pics of a 90 cluster into a 91 std. http://communities.msn.com/Thumpu77s...guageswap.msnw

Do what it Did. I have a '89 Civic DX Hatch, got a guage cluster from an '88 lx sedan, Pulled my speedometer out and put it into the LX cluster, fits perfect. And I don't have to deal with the issue about different milage than shows on the title. I'f my speedometer dies, I'll put it in then. That way I don't have the suspicion of milage roolback to deal with. 88-89 clusters are interchangeable, 90-91 are interchangeable. you'll have minor wiring issues if you swap between those two however.
