i have a 96 accord had an h22 swap injector harness caught on fire?? dont know why and now i have put an type-s swap in and its running on three cylinders cylinder one is getting fuel spark and compression but when runnin i pull the spark plug wire and no change in the idle??? cylinders 2-4 have black **** on injectors and cylinder 1 is clean no matter what.. so im thinking air might not be getting in there? i dont wanna pull the intake manifold off please help me if u haveany ideas?????? thank you
I can't answer your question but I am in the process of swapping a h22 type s into my prelude sh. I am having difficulty with the swap, especially with the electrical stuff. I am hoping u can give me some help cos i really need it.
When u did the swap did u use the type S ecu and harness and just connect it to the sensors on the engine, in the process also extending wires that needed extending?
...Or did u need to transplant crank sensor and distributor to the type s motor? Did u have to transplant any other parts to the type s engine to make this work?

well really depends on how bad of a fire it was check your crank sensor maybe bad injectors could be out of time possibly i would say you have a bad sensor or injector!
