Default After installing my axles, when I shift into gear, the car doesn't drive...

I finished doing a 5 lug conversion this weekend and after I bled the brakes, I tried to drive my car but I ran into a big problem. When I shifted my car into first gear, it doesn't move at all. Because of this, I left it in first gear and let go of the clutch to see if the car dies but it doesn't die. What do you guys think might be the problem??? I was reading up on the forum and I noticed that there was an abs axle. Can someone explain the difference if I had it or not?? (my 5 lug has abs for it)...

I've tried pounding the axles in more but still I don't know whats the deal... Any suggestions???

No the ABS axle just has a piece or metal shaped as a circle on the hub side of the axle and it has ridges on it for the abs sensor to read off of. The car not moving happened to me to and it is the axle. Most likely the passenger side because that is the side of the differential unless you have and LSD then it could be either side. SO get under there take a block of wood and put it to the hub side of the axle and tap away. Dont pound but tap and move around a little bit. You will fell it snap in. Hope it helps!!!!

Okay sweet!! I'm glad I'm not the only one going through with this problem... Anyways, today I was working on the driver side but not the passenger side. I'll go do that and hopefully all goes well and the problem is gone... Thanks alot guy!

Okay, I found out what was wrong with my axles. The passenger side outer cv joint was n't connected, so I reconnected it and now it is driving. Hopefully I wont run into any other problems. Thanks for the comments guys!!
