Default 90 civic Si - Muffler Question

I have a HB Si, and i HAD a cherry bomb on there with the stock pipe running through the muffler to the back; same diameter as the rest of the exhaust.

but i was tired of the stupid whiney sound, so i took the muffler from a stock CX hb, and its nice a quiet, but now i am afraid im not getting the same flow. Should i trade the CX exhaust for and SI one? or put the bomb back on there, or find an Si muffler?

thanks

go 2" from the cat back, an put a nice fatty resonator after the cat then a 2" through muffler in stock location sounds really good

Straight pipe 2 or 2 1/2 with a GOOD muff (think gretty or apex world sport) = silent while cruising around town, peddle stomping = smooth, nice deep clean performancey engine sound. I hate those fart cans…. Some of them really sound like $hit. Well, that’s my plan because im going to turbo…

BUMP

Now I am feeling a dilemna

I have the stock DX/CX muff on there, and it sounds good, but the damn thing rattles, i have it all uber tight and the grommets are all nice and tight, but still, RATTLE.

when i had the cherry bomb on there, it didn't "rattle" but it was freaking loud when i floored it.

should i keep the uber rattle CX muff or go with the cherry that is annoying? btw, the Cherry is 2" front to back, nice flow. the CX is 2" before the muff, 1.25" after, LAME
