Default B20 swap in progress

I picked up a '93 Integra w/ a B20 swap. The car looks like the *** but when I drove it, I almost shat my pants. I've already pulled both engines and will be putting it in tommorow. Will post pics shortly!

Oh yeah, anyone have any ideas what i'll be running in the 1/4?

Alright here are the pics:

I got the Integra just like this for $1200, title and all. I drove up and down the block and the torque was ridiculous. I was origanilly gonna buy the OBD1 XSi B16 swap from HMO for 1700 but I couldn't pass this deal up.

That's it for now. This picture **** is killing me.

Alright, moving right along:

I pulled the engine out w/ the help of JJ from Mac's Auto Body (http://www.macspeed704.com .

The ******* oil cap is now broken. I wrapped the chain around the engine kinda fucked up I guess.

B20, YS1. Alright! Gigiddy gigiddy.

Now to pull my engine out

One more look. Bye Bye D16

And in the blink of an eye...

GONE!

Oh yeah, a few more:

My HASport mounts, $200!

Engine out, rolling chassis ready for my spray paint special on the engine bay:

Car originally sitting outside the shop:

Oh yeah in case anyone is wondering. I'm doing all the engine work on the car by myself. Or at least until I get to a point where all I can say is "WTF!"

Thank you all (or some). After I get the B20 swap running properly I'll probably be going CR/VTEC. I hope to have the done and the car boosted in Febuary when I get my income tax return.

My final goal is 12s on street trim.

Oh yeah, I'm definetely not losing the body kit. I'm gonna get the fromt and rear bumpers redone to lose the rust before getting it painted black. That's how I bought the car last November for $800 (except for the fenders, rims and tail lights).

Wow, love what you are doing, I was thinking about dropping my B16 for a B20, cause I would like to experience torque one day.

I was looking at a B16 but $1200 for B20 w/YS1 tranny? Not to mention the car was running and included? I had to take it. Had I not ran across it, you and I would have been in the same boat.

Dude your going to love the B20 swap! The best that I ran while I was NA was a 14.7@93mph with a 2.260ft, so definetly more in it. Didnt get a chance to run it that much while it was NA tho. Its a sweet swap and the trq. is sick!!! I slapped on a T3/T4 and cranked the boost to 15psi, and omg, let me tell you.... I get beat off the line a lot of the time... But the top end is SICK, and I pass people like they are standing still.... Although the best Ive been able to pull is a blistering 13.1@113mph, with a sweet 2.3 60ft, with sicks, Ive been told that this setup has potential for high 11s with a much better 60ft.. Ill never go back to NA... I wouldnt be able to live without hearing my turbo spool 15lbs and the whine that it makes... omg....

Anyways,

Nice swap!

LMK if you need help with anything!

Blaze

Preciate it but this ain't my home town.
I'm just stationed at Barksdale AFB.
Active Duty Air Force.

Early morning update:

Just stopped by AutoZone and grabbed me some axles. After taxes they were $130 for the pair.

Just a note: I could have gotten new axles for about $40 more plus tax but decided not to. They were made by the same company as these remanufactured ones and they all carry a lifetime warranty. Why would I spend another $40, so I complain as soon as I scratch them during installation? GTFOH!

great post!

Slap a VTEC head on there and it will feel like a whole other animal. 13.6, half gutted, with a B20B/VTEC in my 87 Civic Si.
