Yeah, I took the black lip off. I'm currently looking for a JDM ITR lip, but until then this is what it looks like. I love the new clean look!







I also decided to take the exhaust off and try running open downpipe. Oh my god do my ears hurt, but the tuning problem seems to have vanished, the car pulls to 20psi in each gear flawlessly (except for wheelspin...I get that into 4th) and spools much faster than before. It's just SO loud!

BTW, I know I'm not well known here, so here's a before pic for comparison:

It's a replica C-West lip, and it's for sale...or trade for the JDM ITR lip. It would probably look better painted the car's color, but I'm looking for as stock JDM ITR look as possible.

 

you shoulda kept that lip on, its ugly but atleast it doesnt leave your chin without hair

i think you should at least krylon the lip yellow. When i got mine, i had to respray it. until i could get it done professionally, I went to sears and god some sunburst yellow spray paint. ITs way better when painted than when only black

Just get it painted yellow so everything matches.

 

DAMN then thats a huge intercooler! From the first pic I thought it resembled a radiator, but then read later you were runnin boost.
