whats the widest rim your running on?
i'm considering on getting a set of slipstreams (16x8). is this to wide? should i go with 16x7? what are you guys running on? any problems with rubbing? how's the handling and ride? help me make up my mind!

What kind of car? What make/model and size tires do you plan on using? Is this for street use, or the dragstrip, or the racetrack, or winter tires?

Your Civic probably came with 175/70-13 or 185/60-14 tires. The closest match in a 16" size is 205/40-16. Most tires in that size are approved for mounting on rims with width of 7.0 to 8.0 inches - so it's possible to use 16x7 or 16x8.
