Default K&N Filter

Hey guys. I am planning to get an ebay CAI and SRI. For these, I need a filter. I've heard K&N is the best for your buck, so I need to know what kind fits CAIs and SRIs for a 5th gen. Thanks.

depends on how big your piping is. Usually CAI's are 3" piping, so just get a K&N cone filter that will fit a 3" intake pipe

Actually, do you guys suggest K&N or is there a better filter for that price?

Also, where is a good place I can buy these filters from?

There was a test done and the results said the the Apexi filter was the best, but they cost a lot (around 60-80$) and K&N came in second. You can get a K&N from ebay for around 20-30$

Good Luck

Alright, thanks.

Also, my CAI I'm getting comes with a filter. I doubt it's any good, they said it's pre-oiled. It's from the Racing_Guys. Would it be safe to use it for a little while or should I just wait until I get a K&N?
