How bad is this? I'm hoping the oil has never been changed, the car has 220000km.

I'm trying to narrow down the cause of a jerky shift I've been getting.

The car's synchros still work; however since the shifts have been jerky I havent pushed the tranny...sometimes it feels like the arent working that great.

Crossed fingers

I think the problemn might be more serious tho as I have "play" in the transmission...it clicks when I release the clutch...allmost like something is loose inside.

Now if I could only get that damn spindle nut off, I could have a look at the diff. With all my wieght on an 8 foot pipe, the pipe bent before the nut moved.

make sure you unpop the dent put in the spindle nut to keep it secure. then hit it with an air ratchet. does it everytime, even on my 15 year old DA.
