valve guides??
ive been searching to find out how to take out vavle guides in my buddies h22a, but all i can find is "go to a machine shop" or "look in your helms." but i was wondering if any one has done it themselves, and can actually give me some first hand information. and if you do have to heat to to 450 deg. to make the metal softer to remove them.
Goodson air hammer # AH-335 $59.95, PH-2255-G driver, $15.99. Head has to be heated to 250 F min in oven. Depending what you buy to replace them reamers (must have) run from $34.00 - $39.00 ea.

It also seems to help if you blow compressed air through the guide just before driving it out. The air cools the guide some and shrinks it slightly.

thanks for the help and info, and not some smart a$$ answer like, "take it to your machine shop" or "look in your helms manual". there are still decent people out there.
