setup as follows:

LS block w/ 81mm P30 pistons
Stock LS rods/ ARP rod bolts
GSR head w/ RM springs/retainers
SKUNK2 PRO 1 cams
SKUNK2 PRO series intake manifold (inlet is i think 64mm i think)
DC 4-2-1 header
tuned with UBERDATA

i just ordered a SKUNK2 66mm throttle body. if this too large for my setup or will it be fine. i will port match the intake manifold to the 66mm TB
i wanted a 64mm TB but they didnt make em, smallest is 60mm

 

check out maxbore.com, they can bore out your gsr TB to 64 mm at the butterfly and 67 mm at the opening. The guy who does theboring out has a long as thread in the sponsor performance section (close to 20 pages i think) with excellent reviews.

BTW i have almost the exact same set-up as you (except jdm itr pistons and a J-spec 4-2-1 header with 2.5 inch collector. The cams and valvetrain works awesome together and after tuning the car feels waaaay better than the stage 1s i had in before that were tuned to 196 whp and 143 wtrq. good luck

 

i had some extra cash so i just decided to spend it on a new TB. i already baught the SKUNK2 66mm TB. it should run decent i think.

u got 196whp with the PRO 1 cams? nice, im just look n to hit in the 190's whp with this setup..... maybe break 200whp. i wanted tp put everything in my car this friday but i had to order a few parts......... i need VTEC!!!!!!

Nah man, 196 whp with STAGE 1 cams by sk2. btw, the car feels way better with the pro 1's and made just under 15 whp more .
