check your compression, do a leakdown test, maybe even dyno it to see if it's on par with other motors with the same mods, if any. Does it burn or leak any fluids?

That'll give you a good indication of the shape of the motor.

Personally I wouldn't risk it. That'sa pretty high mileage motor. Before going turbo I'd tear the block apart and rebuild it, new seals, gaskets, bearings, bore it .25 over and add low compression forged pistons the works. You might also want to consider purchasing a used block with lower miles and building it up with forged internals. If you are looking for reliability out of your car slapping a turbo kit on an engine with that many miles will be fun for as long as the motor will hold out and then you'll have to rebuild or buy another one anyways. Just my .02 cents.

Yeah, I like your (Advanced Engine Management Central Intelligence Agency) mod... I bet it's MAD fast y0! Plus, my strut bar sucks... I heard sturts are a better brand!!!

------------------

Find a used block... build it, sleeve it... make it a bulletproof monster. Then boost the shat out of it. Oh yeah, better replace ur axles, CV joints, bearings, blah blah blah... cause 110k miles isn't going to hold lots of torque for long. Things will start breaking.

Good luck!

I turboed my LS at 115,000 miles. At 118K miles, I spun a rod bearing. This probably has nothing to do with the turbo, but I don't know.

I didn't have much oil in it, so it must have burned pretty fast. Hmph. So I guess the turbo did cause it.
