Default Nicest guage clusters for an EG?

I have a 1992 CX that didn't have a stock tach, so I ended up buying an Auto Meter monster tach. Anyhow, to make a long story short, I don't like it.

I want to get rid of it and get a guage cluster that will fits directly (please don't suggest something like an S2000 cluster just because it can "be made" to fit), starts redlining at 7,200 RPM's, and isn't too expensive. Pictures and suggestions would be appreciated

Cheapest would be a 92-95 EX/Si cluster.

Or to bling it up get a EG6 Cluster (JDM). It's in KMH though but looks soooo good.

Well you have alot of options, you can try to find a JDM one or else juse get one from a 92-95 EX or SI model, they will all plug in guessing that you have a manual car!

Yup! It's a stick. I would like to get something really nice...but I don't know if I can afford something like a Spoon (although they're really nice). Any pictures of the JDM one?

Yeah, like people said.. Ex / Si redlines at 7200, the JDM cluster redlines a bit after 8, but if you're up for a little project I'd suggest an Integra cluster. Looks great but requires a considerable amount of rewiring

That's the one I got. The white faced gauges are a little too intense for me, but I like the kph speedos that the JDM/CDM clusters have.

If you aren't scared of a little wiring (about 20-25 splices) and hacking up your cluster shroud, get a GSR cluster and harness. Looks awesome. I did the swap in my old hatch with a GSR motor.

i vote the edm/ukdm cluster. reads in big font in MPH and reads to 145mph, and KPH in small along the inside, and readlines at 8 i believe. still looks stock pretty much, but a little extra kick for those paying attention to notice. oh, and good luck finding one... they are a little difficult to find and kinda pricey.

thanks for thread jacking! it's for cruise control.

i second the VTi as the best "eg" cluster: 8100rpm redline, 145MPH speedo

jdm clusters are nice, but during the day they look kind of ricy (like overlays). At night though you cannot tell that it got a white background. Nice cluster though. Tops out really quick even with a d.

Personally I like EG LX 5spd clusters. 6,000 redline, so even with a z6 looks like you got *****.

Good old days. Not my car though. With a d, just by looking at the speedometer it seems like that thing flies because it goes up so freaken quick.
