Default Bypassing Remote Keyless system

Okay, I'm looking to buy a new head unit for my Civic... Right now it's pretty much bare bones. I read in the owners manual that the remote keyless will not work when the unit is replaced (unless it's a honda deck). I'd like to know if it's at all possible to bypass this system.

yes it is, you have to relocate your stock radio somewhere, under pass. seat. you should have an alarm on your car anyway. good luck

Any reputable stereo shop will know how to retain the keyless when they put a new unit in for you

to bypass this .. this is what u do..

remover center consol.. u will have to locate ur aftermarket deck where the cup holder is.. there is a slot of it there.. but u have to unscrew the top deck too.. so when u take out all ur panels there is 2 screws under the deck holdin it in.. unscrew those and there is 3 harnesses connected to the deck. take out the white one.. slice the black take as far as u can go. so that harness will reach to the bottom of the cup holder.. dont cut al the wires but cut all speaker wires and connect it to the new harness that u have.. then tap the 3 wires to ur black, yellow/red, and white/blue. connect black wire with black wire on harness and yellow red with red wire and white/blueto the yellow wire.. dont cute these three wire, juss tap it in.. cuz those three wires are requre for the top deck which u will be needing to plug back in
