i went to the acura dealership the other day and was looking to get into a new car. they has the a spec in the show room for 30 grand. why is it so much. its just a lip kit with type r wheels right.

 

NO way. It's not worth that much. The most I would pay for the aspec is like 25-26. The aspec comes with the lip kit, wing, aspec wheels(not type r), slightly lower stance, and I believe better braking system. There is no way it's worth 30k. For that much you could get an evo, 05 s2000, or a 350z or g35 coupe.

 

its cheaper to buy those parts separately. just buy the Type S in its stock trim and then buy what you want later down the line. that extra 5k can be spent much better in other mods

 

i'm pretty sure (like 99.9% positive) the a spec kit is just the body kit, wing, wheels, and "better" suspension (which you'll be pissed you spent money on, because it's only like a 1/4" difference from the stock setup). i don't think the brakes are upgraded at all.

but to answer your question, NO it is not worth any of the money.

 

There is a black Aspec at the dealer near me..it looks sharp! Has similar wheels to the TL Aspec. The price is a little high at $29,000 but if you make your own i dont see it being much cheaper.
