Default Exhaust Question....

Which exhaust would perform better an a 2000 civic ex coupe with a d16y8?
RS*R ExMag

Or
Apex'i N1

Only other mods are an AEM CAI, and a DC 4-2-1 2 Piece ceramic header.
I am not worried about how loud they are just want it to look nice and perform well.
Also anyone with pics of these exhausts on their coupes, post a pic, I would like to see what they look like on the car.
Thanks.

iits basically the same thing.....

im pretty sure both the piping diameters are the same

the only difference is one has a oval muffler and one has an N1...

its just a dam exhaust.. make a choice and throw it on...

Um, i'm positive that would fit on almost ANYTHING! Mufflers can be universal... the piping catback is whats different but if you find you self a good exhaust shop almost anything can be done.

You will still be slow. We don't need another loud, obnoxious, slow Honda on the road.

Upgrade your suspension.

N1 is one of the louder exhausts out there and IMO doesnt sound that great. RS*R Ex-Mag is the complete oposite, one of the quietest exhausts out there.

I vote for the Ex-Mag because its quiet and still has a nice tone. The N1 is straight up loud and anoying at times (ie- crusing on HW). I hate slow cars with loud exhausts so if you have to get anything make it a nice quiet one.

Also check out the A'pexi WS2 which I have and it is very quiet and has a nice tone. If you want pics/vids of the WS2 check my CarDomain page (link in sig).

I have to agree.

Try google-ing something like "rs*r exmag review" or somthing. i was gonna get it but I went with the Greddy SP2 and I love it. I read that some people have had bad experiences with rust/corrosion of the RS*R piping, not sure tho, I had the Exmag GTII on my old 92 LS and it was loud as hell but it was a clean sound. But like others are saying, buy an exhaust and put it on, its your car we cant tell you what to buy.

im looking into buying an exhaust as well. i was looking at the rs*r gt2 however im kinda turned off by it not having stainless steel piping. so im leading more towards the greddy evo2.

my vote would be for the exmag out of the TWO you are choosing between. if you want a louder exhaust than the exmag i would go with something else besides N1, ive heard they can be TOO loud at times...
