My brother just bought one last weekend, so I should be able to comment more on the bike in the upcoming week.

I really like them from what I have gotten test and see, it's a very good combination of supersport/bike and what I would call "dirtbike/supermoto".

A pretty upright position that's comfy and commanding, not much in the way of a fairing, pretty torquey for an inline, decent suspension for agressive riding, good clearance for an non-supersport, agile for a liter bike with the dirtbike style handle bars with lots of leverage and room to use it.

The looks are hit and miss with people. Quadruple exhaust stock, color accented bits here and there. It's styled much more like a european street fighter than just about any other stock bike. The engine is much more buzzy than the supersports (it just doesn't have the smoothness and accuracy of counter balancing that most new supers, most likely from using the 900 engine up to 1000 vs using the ZX10R engine)

Search on http://www.kawiforums.com and http://www.riderforums.com for lots of other opinions on the bike. In my searching I have not found any known problems with the bike other than seeing header bolts coming loose on occasion, a quick check of the torque specs fix that.

But like I said, I have really wanted to get to ride one for a good amount of time, and this weekend hopeully I'll get to spend a few hours on one.

I'll definately be able to tell you if it's quicker than a 03 ZX6R .
