car still pulling right after alignment
ive been doing some work on my friends 98 gsr, which included replacing both tie-rod ends and an alignment. the car had been pulling right before the alignment, and the steering wheel wasn't centered. after the alignment, the car is still pulling right but when the steering wheel is held in the center position the car goes straight. we rechecked toe/camber/caster, and everything was within spec. anyone have any experience with this?
thanks
EDIT: tires arent bad either (they are directional) and tire pressure was even

wow. sounds interesting. So, your tie rod ends, toe, camber, caster and tires are all in tip top shape...hmm...got any ball joints that need replacing?
Yea that happen to me also, got a alignment and it was still pulling left on me...Everything was still in spec, but the guys told me that what would really help was new camber kit..so I got skunk2 camber kit and it was gone..If you want pic of my alignment sheet that show everything in spec after alignment and it was still pulling left just ask i'll post it

the car has stock suspension. how could i tell if the tires are bad though? there is no uneven camber wear or feathering. the tire pressure was fine as well.
lift the car so the tire is hanging and spin it, if the tire is bad it will be very lumpy and over all not round. If a car drifts when you don't hold the wheel and dosn't when you do its is usually a loose part, you might not have got them all
yer. i have a right pull bias wen driving. it's pretty minor but you can feel it sometimes. replaced tyres and checked camber. everything was fine. so not sure what is causing it. but nothing too major...gotten used to it

Check the thrust angle. Toe, camber, and caster can all be in spec but the thrust angle could still be off. You want it to be as close to zero as you can possibly get it.
