Default best way to ward off theifs!!

What did you guys do to ward off thiefs. I know ITRs are rare and everybody wants to get a hold of one, and it probably a thief magnet. How do you guys keep them away? What kind of alarm systems do you guys use?

When it comes to keeping an R safe, there is no such thing as too much of a hassle.

At least once a month, stand naked on the top of your R with a chicken feather stuck in your butt and sing "Stop, in the name of love!" at the top of your voice.

Might not sound very effective but it works just as well as the Club, Autolock, Lojack and every other half-assed suggestion that typically appear in threads like this.

(And these threads appear at least once a week, BTW; you should try the search facility - it's keen.)

im working on a fogging device, something which would go off only when the alarm comes on and a door is opened.

I need to find a small fogger, that Icould locate under the dash somewhere, so that as soon as a requirements are met it starts fogging the inside of the car, either that or locate it under the hood, so smoke billows out of the bonnet.

Thats one way of attracting attention to a car.

well its a work in progress.

you could pick up a big fat body kit, alteza's,mesh grills, paint and wrap the interior in vynil, chrom 18's and maybe if your cool enough convert it to auto!

i can almost guarantee* an itr wont get stolen that way, maybe convert it to 4lug and ls swap would help

*guarantee void if itr is in mexio

Unfortunately, with all the security I had on my car the thiefs still got to it.... But within two days I found the thiefs and they got theirs... in a big way. They won't be coming around these ways no more. I should be called the thief hunter.

I don't care how "big" you are or how many guns you have in your house... a good thief will kick you in the nuts when you're not looking and you lest expect it.

Very old concept, actually. I read about a company in Car Audio magazine that had those devices out like 12 years ago.

If you buy an itr you will do everything it takes to keep her safe. I love my car and I spend about half an hour taking her out and locking her up for her good night sleep
