Default Is this a good exhaust setup?

Hi, i was planning on getting an Apexi WS 2 universal muffler with costom 2.5 pipings along with the stock cat and resonator. What do you guys think of this setup on my stock dx hatch motor? Is 2.5 too big? Also will the WS 2 be as quite as stock or similar to the rsr exmag? Thanks

By custom you surely mean bent by billy at the exhaust shop (you might get lucky some of it is really nice)
2.5 is really big for an NA stock compression single cam.
Quite or quiet? If you want to know if its going to be quiet, it will sound a little louder at idle, and like *** up top. Something some of us just give into after a while though.

Good luck.

just think what exhaust always sounds on a civic with a stock single cam.

thats what it'll sound like, it'll be real nice at idle, then loud as **** and rhaspy up top. I'd say if you are worried about how it sounds get
a header (cheap megan racing ebay ones get good reviews)
a highflow cat (or keep the stock one)
a pre-built cat-back with the biggest longest muffler you can find (the bigger the muffler the quieter it'll be (for same size inlet / outlet) i'm talking about the body of the muffler.

One thing you may want to look into would be to do the header, keep the cat, get 2" pipe bent at an exhaust shop, and use an RSX-S muffler, or a type-R / GSR

I've heard them sound real real good on single cams.

2" piping is like having stock piping ... crush bend 2" piping will narrow it down to like 1&1/2 piping at the bends ....ek4 just go with 2&1/4 piping ...you'll be more satisfied
